A foundation worth walking on.
Interlocking concrete pavers built to ICPI spec — a hand-laid surface that handles vehicle loads, freeze-thaw cycles, and decades of foot traffic without the cracks and joints of a poured slab. Patios, driveways, pool decks, walkways.
Built to last a lifetime.
Concrete pavers don't crack like slabs — they flex. An interlocking system spreads load across the field, allowing the surface to move with your soil and climate without breaking apart.
Every Quality First paver installation is built to Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) specification: a compacted base, clean bedding sand, and polymeric joints. The result is a surface that gets stronger with use, looks better as it weathers, and can be lifted and re-set if you ever need to. No sledgehammer required.
Eight signature looks.
From tumbled cobblestone to crisp modern plank, every Belgard, Pavestone, and Acker-Stone style we install is hand-picked for the look you're after. Mix sizes for movement, layer colors for depth, or keep it monolithic — your call.

The numbers behind a hand-laid surface.
Twice the strength of a standard concrete pour, per paver.
Compacted Class II base over geotextile — driveway-rated.
Lifetime structural warranty on every ICPI-spec install.
Interlocking system flexes — no slab cracks, no expansion joints.
One material, four jobs.
Pavers work where slabs fail. They handle vehicle loads, stay cool by the pool, give walkways a finished edge, and can be lifted and re-set if a utility ever needs to come up.
Driveways & motor courts.
Engineered to handle daily vehicle weight without cracking. ICPI-spec base depth, edge restraints, and joint sand for decades of service.
Patios & outdoor rooms.
Define an outdoor living space with mixed-format pavers, banded borders, and integrated firepit or BBQ pads — the foundation of an outdoor room.
Pool decks & coping.
Cool-touch travertine and textured pavers stay comfortable on bare feet. Slip-resistant surfaces and clean coping transitions around any pool shape.
Walkways & entries.
A first impression that lasts — curved walkways, formal entry courts, and side-yard paths that tie the whole landscape together.
From excavation to polymeric sand.
Pavers fail at the base, not the surface. That's why we follow ICPI installation standards on every project — every lift compacted, every layer to spec, every joint hand-checked before we leave.
Design consultation & layout
We meet onsite, walk the property, and discuss how you want to use the space — vehicle loads, foot traffic, drainage, the look you're after. Then we draft a paver layout with paving pattern, banding, and color blends specced to your home.

Excavation & grading
We excavate to the required base depth — 6" for patios, 8–10" for driveways — with a 1–2% slope away from structures. Soil is removed, geotextile fabric is laid down, and the subgrade is compacted to ICPI spec.

Base preparation
Class II road base is laid in 2-inch lifts and compacted with a plate compactor between each lift. The result is a rock-solid sub-base that won't shift, settle, or rut under load.

Bedding sand & screeding
A 1-inch layer of clean, washed concrete sand is laid over the compacted base and screeded perfectly flat. This is the layer that gives pavers their final adjustability and lockup — done by hand, not by machine.

Paver installation
Pavers are laid in your specified pattern with consistent 1/8" joints. Borders, banding, and curves are cut on-site with a wet saw. Every joint is checked, every line is snapped — no eyeballing.

Edge restraint & compaction
Aluminum or polymer edge restraints are spiked into the base perimeter to lock the field. The whole installation is then plate-compacted to seat every paver into the bedding sand.

Polymeric joint sand & sealing
Polymeric sand is swept into every joint, activated with a fine water mist, and cured. The sand hardens to lock pavers in place, prevent weeds, and resist ant intrusion. Optional sealer adds color depth and stain protection.
